Justice for all
Like a gate to another world, this little book market takes us back to the time when the word was still bound in a decent frame of leather and gold. Out off all the ancient wisdom on a shelf, the book seller (or a providence?) has chosen to show us pages about the French Revolution of 1848. Opposite to the soldiers of temporary '48 government stands Louis Blanc, socialist and historian, an author of the famous statement "FROM EACH ACCORDING TO HIS ABBILITIES, TO EACH ACCORDING TO HIS NEEDS". Although he's now just a printed image, his dignified and decisive glance seems to be calling us to responsibility upon this definition of justice which he articulated into several words. We are leaving the market wondering - are these ideals and principles forgotten and reposited on antiquarian shelves quite like these old books? Or they just need to be wiped off the dust to start shining a new light? It is up to us...
